Company Person should be able to export the List View

@Shilpa Gumnur This has been a parity gap ever since Gainsight started relying on Persons vs. Contacts in features like Timeline Attendees, etc. It’s a common use case for CSMs to need to export their contact list.

Gainsight is really bad about ensuring feature parity when they replace one function with another. 😡
 

Is there an update on this? It would be good to have this functionality.

I do agree with @alizee that having admin control for companies that don’t want this (or for users who shouldn’t be able to do this) is good, but we are also coming across this need and I see it’s a 3 year old request that has continually gotten parked. And, as @darkknight pointed out, this is a regression in functionality.

Unfortunately this is parked for now(at least until q1 of 25, conservatively speaking) as we are looking at other priorities. 

I will re-open the conversation internally to see if we can borrow some bandwidth for this.

Appreciate the recent update- As we are focusing on the customer and impacts we can do, it helps when we as Admins can help our field save time and this is one of the areas that is a pain as there is no export, so we are forced to create work arounds. I am hoping that this can be raised in Q1 2025 as it has been raised by the community for sometime.

​@Shilpa Gumnur We wanted to check if there are any recent updates on this enhancement request. Our CSMs are actively looking for export/view options within the People section, and this capability would significantly improve their day-to-day workflows.

From a use case perspective, the ability to download the People list supports several key business needs:

• User Validation for Cost Allocation:
  Some customer accounts manage internal cost allocations across multiple teams. This requires periodic validation of active users leveraging the subscription to ensure accuracy and alignment with billing and usage.
• Commercial Insights & Trend Analysis:
  Our Commercial team relies on People data for both internal reviews and customer-facing discussions. Tracking user trends over time (e.g., growth, decline, or stability in user count) is critical for understanding account health and identifying expansion or risk signals.
• Geographic Risk & Opportunity Assessment:
  User location is an important dimension in our analysis, as risks and opportunities can vary significantly by region. Having easy access to exportable data enables more effective segmentation and strategic planning.

At present, the lack of a direct export option in the People section introduces manual effort and limits efficiency for our teams.
