Configurable Filter on People- Create Views

Related products:CS C360 & R360 & P360

I’d love the ability to create “Views” on the People section in C360 the same way we can create different views in Timeline & Cockpit. A majority of our outreaches and engagement activities are done based on roles defined at the contact level, and our CSMs are asking for a way to see that subsection of contacts from the People level on the account.

At present, there is no way to save or configure a view on the People section, so our workaround has been to add filters to see the contacts in the role group you’re looking for. This is painful for the CSM to have to do this action every time, especially when they have to filter on multiple fields. Enabling the creation of views in this section would avoid them having to pull a separate report or filter themselves.

@kelly as a temporary measure, you may be to create a dashboard report, make it filterable by account, to help them narrow down the information and get familiar with their accounts. Of course they’d still have to have the C360 up in another screen to make edits as needed.

Not ideal, but may be a bridge.

Any updates on this? I don't know how many times I've had to set this filter up for myself because there's no save option. I wish that any time I accessed the People tab in my C360s I could just see my contacts the way I want/need to without having to redo those filters. I used to have them all lined up and saved neatly as I needed in ChurnZero and now in Gainsight it's been such a time consuming task since they don't have that save option.

Hi @AriParedes ,

This option is available on GS Home -People Tab

As a PSM you can create your own list (aka view) under People tab. I also see Elevation Education is a user of Group Send so People widget should be visible to you in GS Home.

Refer this doc for more details.

Hello,

I appreciate the workarounds, but I specifically noted the People tab in C360s for a reason. I’d appreciate any updates on the ability to create saved “Views” on the People section in C360, which was the main goal of the original post and my initial reply post. This would not only enable feature parity, but CSMs to quickly check who are the main key contacts/contact types that are most relevant in a particular account, simply by accessing the People tab in it.

For more context, the workarounds do not address the exact need because Group Send, while great, is designed for sending one-time, targeted emails, which may or may not be the reason behind a CSM needing to see key main contacts quickly, at a glance, for specific accounts. Similarly, the GS Home People tab, while great, relevant, and also needed, still requires constant filtering per company name/account, given that the company/account I need to see key contacts for may vary hourly/daily. Having the ability to create saved “Views” on the People section in C360s would ensure I can quickly see who the main key contacts are for a particular account only, without any constant extra filtering needed, to review or use as needed (which may or may not include emailing).

This is something we have been asked for. We have different teams looking at the people lists who need to filter by different criteria. Examples: primary contacts or filter to job role. It is frustrating that they need to adjust the filter every time they go from one C360 to another. Note: some teams do not have full licenses so the Home workaround would not work for them.
