Connector Job (SFDC) - show filtered data in preview

In the SFDC connector jobs we have the possibility to preview data, but that data shown is not reflecting the filters configured. I have been told by support that this is an expected behaviour. 

I see that @hardik_mota has already posted this request some time ago in this post and it was updated 3 months ago taking it to implemented with the caveat that it was only for Hubspot connector for now. 

I understand that this is a WIP but having the preview available without the data being filtered is pointless. Furthermore, I have lost 1hs trying to figure out what I was doing wrong with my data because I couldn’t get it filtered, then I have to wait for a response to my ticket only to see that it was expected behaviour. 

I would suggest to only allow to preview if the actual filtered data is to be shown.

    +1 This is one of the most important areas for filters and preview to show correctly before implementing.

    Seems like this affects many users. I would love Preview to be a real preview of the filtered dataset that we are bringing in.

      I’m struggling with the same thing for the Jira connector. I’d like to use the Preview to make sure I’m using the correct filters by trial-and-error. Given this behavior, this is not possible. I also didn’t find a valid alternative approach yet, as the data cannot be queried anywhere (Data Designer, Reports, Rules) until they are in an MDA Object.
