Connector time filter should be dynamic

Team, we have over a million new records being created every day for a connector because there is no way to set a dynamic filter to only include data from the last N days. This seems like a pretty basic request and one that would improve product parity with reporting, rules and programs. Having so much data is not good for data hygiene and may impact performance.
