Convert CTA Task to a To-Do CTA

Hello GS Community,

There is an Older Post - But I wanted to see what all thought about this now.

We moved forward with Timeline to replace some very old processes of CTAs and this one came up today. 

When a task is added to a CTA Timeline activity it generates a new Task on the CTA. The thought is to have an option in the 3-Dot menu of the task to ‘Convert Task to CTA’ — which would be pre-configured by we admins similar to the global timeline activity tasks. 

Using the ‘Convert to CTA’ which deletes (or statuses) the original task and allows the CTA to be created based on how the admin sets it up in the background:

                -CTA Type = Activity

                -CTA Reason = To-Do Task

                -CTA Priority = Medium

                -CTA Status = Not Started

                -Due Date = Same as original task

                -CTA Owner = Same  as original task

This would be a cool feature — Convert to CTA. I know our team would realize a lot of value from this!

      Anyone else see value in this one for teams that leverage Playbooks?

        I acknowledge this ask and will add it to the roadmap list. But, because of other high-priority items, I don't see it coming in the near term or mid-term. FYI @sriram pasupathi
