Some companies are very concerned with branding.
Putting the ability to change banners, logos, colors, etc into the hands of an end user can be problematic in this regard.
Right now, the following occurs:
If permission bundle is limited ONLY to “Invite/Manage/Revoke users to Spaces”
- End User can still change the banner banner widget template
- End User cannot edit banner text content
If permission bundle includes both ““Invite/Manage/Revoke users to Spaces” and “Add/Update Content within widgets in Spaces”
- End User can edit banner text content, BUT
- End User can change branding (background image and colors) AND
- End User can still change the banner banner widget template
There should be a way in permission bundles that prevents end users from doing anything in spaces, except:
- edit banner text content (NOT change the banner layout or content) or fields that have been made editable by an admin
- invite users to a space
By Banner text content I mean the text in this space - but NOT access to the gear icon:

Also please stop, STOP, STOP adding messages in the platform telling end users to reach out to their admin to enable something. If something isn’t enabled, it’s typically INTENTIONAL.
You’re just creating more headaches for admins!!!
