Inspired by my other idea (below), the profile drop-down menu would be another area of the platform where I’d love to see some customization added. 

Use Cases:

  • Linking to external resources related to the user’s account
    • Ex. B2B or B2C companies linking to billing subscriptions
    • Ex. Linking to marketing email subscriptions management (one of our use cases)
  • Navigational quick links without cluttering up the global navigation bar and/or that don’t have a clear use case as a homepage quicklink
    • Leaderboard link to encourage gamification

How it might work: 

  • Platform-wide settings in Control that are the same for all users
  • Limited number of quick links that could be added
  • Set a display text + destination URL
