Daily, Weekly, Monthly Automated Digest Emails

Hi team,

 

It would be great to implement a feature that emails our community members a daily, weekly, or monthly digest email of all the relevant activity in the Community. In the digest emails, content would include recent activity in groups that they’re part of, forums they follow, and even discussions they’re engaged in. This would be way better than the one-off autmated emails people get. 

At least them the user choose if they want one-off emails, daily digests, weekly digests, or monthly.

    This is one of the biggest pain-points for our members. In a busy world, folks don’t necessarily have excess of time to log in and scroll through the community each day. A good digest cadence would help us get back some of the engagement and activity, especially from folks who are now completely checked out. 

     

    I hope this idea gets picked up!

            ​@MeghanM Agreed, for a few different use cases and scenarios - most top of mind being the events notifications after publishing a handful of events within an hour. Members received 4-5 emails in a short timeframe which feels ‘spammy’.
