Dashboard Dependencies

Ditto. I spend a fair amount of my downtime combing through old assets to deprecate them, and running the dependency checks is a bit of a nightmare because of stuff like this. Any improvement to the tools we have would be an exponential time saver and problem preventer.

Ran into this the other day too. Data Designer doesn’t come up in dependency checks either...

Yikes… considering it’s currently one of the main source types for the new dynamic JO program builder, that’s discouraging. 

I could have sworn I’ve seen Data Designs show up in dependency checker before - The issue with DD was that if there are any reports based on it, you have to check dependencies from the DD to find those dependencies, not the base objects. If that makes sense.

I don’t think so. At least not in the Object Analyzer. This object, for example, is used in multiple data designs in our org, but you would never know from looking at this.

Any movement on this? 

EVERY place a field is used in Gainsight should show up in the Dependencies on Data Management.

Not even sure why this is seen as a request instead of a bug/feature implementation failure!
