Dashboard Filter Help Text

I would love for the ability to provide help text on Dashboard filters in order to do the following:

• Indicate which reports the filter does/does not apply to
• A quick how-to of what the filter means and how to use it
• Just provide generla definitions

Has this use case never come up? I can’t find an existing post about it but am very surprised!
