Data Designer / HRE Parity : Date Filters

Heya!

In the series of data designer and horizon rules parity, here’s another one following on an earlier post relating to formulas...

I’m building the same logic in DD and HRE and don’t have the same filters. While semantically they’ll sort of do the same, it’d be great to fix the parity in date filters as it doesn’t make sense to pick “Today” in one place and “Run Date” in the other.

Run Date is probably semantically clearer that it will be whatever the day the rule and design runs on vs. today which could lead to confusion.

    Agreed. That subtle shifting of what you can do where can sap one’s efficiency. Standardizing the feature sets would be a great step forward.

      Adding to this request:

      There is also no consistency on date filters in rules engine from an admin perspective: filtering rules in or out. 

      This needs to be consistent with all other date filtering features.
