Document sharing in spaces

The Notes widget can be used to share document links - the content of the notes widget is fully controlled via the layout setup process

Can we attach instead of sharing links?

Spaces notes currently only supports links for documents hosted externally.

Attaching a document directly is not supported.

Attachments should be supported; why allow sharing videos / reports / links but not files? CSMs and customers frequently collaborate on documents like spreadsheets and share decks etc.

I agree with your comments and would add that images should be directly supported in comments and space notes, not just via a URL

I would like to add on that document sharing is a critical component for us as well. I would also like to know if there will be any integration with community content so that we could potentially add community content into the spaces with something better than just a link. 

Agreed with document sharing. We tried having certain documents such as presentations stored in SF a while back but found out that hosting presentations posed a storage concern for our license so I am curious if that would potentially be an issue should GS Spaces allow document sharing. If planning for the roadmap I would like to suggest significant memory for document sharing.

I completely agree that this feature would be incredibly valuable.
