dynamic content widget - adding content type>event

We started to play around with this the past few weeks. However, some of the custom pages we are trying to build are around webinars and our lunch and learn program. 

But with the dynamic content widget we are unable to add the "content type > events." Which is what we need for these pages. 

We do not want to manually change it each week. So, we thought about the dynamic widget and found that "event type" is not supported.
