Hey @Scott Baldwin, thanks for the idea! That makes total sense and I’d love to have it as well personally.

I’d put this idea to open to collect more votes and feedback :) 

Updooting this idea because I just tried to use emojis for the first time and had to scroll to find the one I needed for 2 minutes.

(PS - it was the donut)

I’m surprised this hasn’t got more votes. I’m starting to use emojis less and less in our community because it makes me cross how much time I spend searching!

Thanks @olimarrio  I didn’t know this existed. That will indeed make it easier but should still be a native feature. I’ll fill out survey

To be fair I always use this shortcut

Windows users can reach the same emoji selector by pressing Windows logo key and . key (period). 

 I didn’t know this existed. That will indeed make it easier but should still be a native feature. 

Here I have to disagree with my fellow community member @sarahmasterton-brown 

If there is such a perfect solution embedded in every laptop keyboard, I don’t see why DH should waste time & resources into building something that already exists, when they could rather spend that time improving other features or building new ones that are actually missing
