Let's discuss an improvement opportunity within Gainsight CS concerning Timeline Activity Associate Records, particularly those created by the Gong Integration, which are currently non-editable.

We propose introducing an option to disable Auto Activity Association. Why?

Consider this scenario: A consultant from a client like Google works with multiple companies. When they participate in a call for Company One, the meeting syncs to Gainsight via Gong, and the call's timeline activity automatically associates with the consultant's other 3-5 client accounts. This indiscriminate association poses challenges, especially when dealing with sensitive or unrelated information.

Additionally, even if an account becomes inactive within those associated companies, activities continue to be associated, cluttering timelines unnecessarily.

Granting end-users the flexibility to configure this feature would empower them to tailor Gainsight to their specific needs and prevent inadvertent associations that could impact data accuracy and privacy.
