This idea is to create a MDA table available in reporting and dashboards that will contain all external action calls along details of their execution.
Today, external actions can be called from various places and can play a very important role in the overall solution. However, you can not easily get to this information for things like reporting on it which creates blind spots and risk. We have already been burned by a external action that was failing, but we didn’t know for a month.
There is the history section in the external action that can get you some of this, but this is an admin view and doesn’t keep history that long. It is not realistic that an Admin would go in and look at all the calls daily in this view.
There is also a table called "Program External API Logs" which has this data for external action calls from journeys, but not external actions called form other places.
