Hi Team,

Reaching out to you to request a new feature in Skilljar regarding Access Controls and Selective Publishing. Currently, we lack the granular control needed to manage lesson visibility on a per-lesson basis effectively. This feature will serve to give our admins better control over course content rollouts. Typically, this update should include the following capabilities:

  1. Admin-Only Lesson Visibility (Disable Lesson): The ability to disable or hide a specific lesson so that it is only visible to administrators on the backend and completely hidden from students on the frontend.

  2. Selective Lesson Publishing: The ability to selectively publish specific lessons within a course, making them visible to students only when we choose to make them active.

This feature will be utilized by our admin team whenever we need to stage new content, archive older lessons, or keep certain materials hidden from students until the appropriate time.

This functionality is needed for better course management, ensuring students only see finalized, active content without requiring us to unpublish an entire course.

Please let me know if you have any questions or any additional information needed. Let us know at once this request is processed.

Regards,
Anuj Loharkar
