We had a use case where we needed to add field dependency in system object. For example adding Controller and Dependent field in Call to action object. But there is no possible way to set the the controller field.
Where as in data management we can see the option for adding the field, but it throws and error when trying to update.

Hello Everyone!
Happy to announce that your request has been implemented in only NXT version. CSMs can now add the dependent picklist values defined by the Admin in the Call to Action page. Each dependent picklist always has a controlling picklist. The dependent picklist values are populated based on the values selected in the controlling picklist.
This feature is implemented in only NXT version.

I have drop down in SuccessPlan object. I have field name Res.If i select certain value in dropdown then make dependent field called "Res" with free text field to appear.Any suggestion?
