The Background: Per current behavior, survey responses with the status “Partially Saved” do not automatically go to “Partially Submitted” upon survey closure. Rather, the survey participant still has until the end of the survey validity period (as noted in the “Partial Completion” section of the survey’s Additional Fields configuration) to revisit the survey to change answers or click “submit.”

As “Partially Saved” survey responses are not present on the flattened survey object until they move to “Partially Submitted” status, this has the potential to add complications in reporting on the survey results on the day of the survey’s closure. (The “Partially Saved” responses are present on the Survey User Answer Object, though this object is not generally preferred to the flattened survey object)

The Ask: It would be useful if Admins had a way to “push” any “Partially Saved” survey responses into “Partially Submitted” status once the survey had closed for simplified reporting and response visibility.
