Formula field for "Rule DateTime"?

It would be great to have ability to create a formula field for the DateTime of the Rule Run rather than just the Date. 

 

We have struggled with optimizing some of our update rules so that pull data from the last rule run rather than a full day. By allowing this field type in formula, we would be able to create a field in transform to log to a custom object that could be run against the next time the rule runs

    Hi Andrea, this is a great enhancement idea.

     

    However, I am afriad that exact usecase you mentioned might not work without some offset + upsert even with this enhancement. The timestamp for data prep and the timestamp for action execution might not exactly match and timestamp during data load might change too.

    Upvoted! For our use, we are simply trying to prepend Date + Time to our comments when a rule makes an update to a CTA or Success Plan.
