Gainsight MCP – let ask_scorecard return more than 12 weeks of health history

We've been using the Gainsight MCP with Claude for churn post-mortems and renewal prep, and it's been great for pulling CTAs, Timeline and contact data together in one go. One thing keeps tripping us up, though: ask_scorecard only returns a 12-week score history (history_window_weeks: 12 in the response metadata).

Why that hurts:

  • Churn post-mortems: we usually run these a few weeks after the churn date, so a big part of or even the whole 12-week window falls after the churn. The trend we actually want to see, the 12 months leading up to it, isn't available.
  • Renewal prep: the 6-month and 3-month risk assessments need the longer trend, not just the last quarter.
  • Measure level: in our tests the per-measure score_history came back with just the latest data point, so we can't see which measure started slipping first (e.g., Adoption vs. Engagement).

What would help:

  • A configurable window on ask_scorecard (start/end date, or history_window_weeks up to ~24 months)
  • The same window for measure-level history, not just the overall score
  • Optionally, weekly or monthly aggregation to keep the payload small for longer windows

The history is clearly in Gainsight already, so this feels like it's mostly about exposing it through the MCP.

We’re hitting the same in Copilot directly, so assume that’s the same source.  Would love to see that updated.
