Would it be possible to handle failed Gong posts to Timeline via the integration similarly to failed email sends and create a DRAFT queue for these?

It seems to be a big of a challenge to get get historical Gong meetings that were unsuccessful to appear on the timeline. Since there was a failure last week of this integration, we have users requesting that previous meetings get posted and this is currently not possible.

We are running into the same problem where calls are not being logged to the Timeline because of the integration look back period of 6 hours. Currently there is no way to change the sync filters, so unless the call is associated to the correct account within 6 hours of the call occurring, we can’t sync it to Timeline.

Upvoted, I think we need a better management of failed records.

Unlikely this will get prioritized for the “old” Gong connector, but this idea highlights the need for better triage/troubleshooting capabilities that should be considered with the “new” Staircase-based AI Follow-Up feature - particularly as it relates to failure of individual records to sync but also general connector/job failure notifications. Feature improvements in this area may encourage companies who haven’t made the switch yet to do so.
