Group @mentions

I love this idea! Salesforce Communities support tagging groups and we used it at my previous organization all the time. @timcavey did a great job identifying some of the ways this functionality would benefit us in our community. It’s common to want to notify an entire cohort of something. Rather than having to go repost/share something in every group, it’d be great to tag the users directly on a post. It’s a great way to drive traffic to specific important content!

There’s also scope to offer the option to automate this, which helps avoid that manual work, @Yoeri.

How about a ‘top rank’ or ‘bottom rank’ group mention. Or a ‘X badge owner’ group mention. 

I think @timcavey summarised everything that Deezer also needs in terms of this feature. I'm currently piloting a private group with independent musicians and podcasters at Deezer and while I have 76 members, no one seems to be engaging with content. There are a few initiatives coming up for these artists and I'd like notify them of what's next - in one go. It's a great way to "nudge/poke" members as well, to keep the engagement flowing in the group.

On top of that, this group was designed to accompany the launch of Deezer for Creators' app, so it would be very useful to notify users about app updates.

Yes! That would be amazing! 

We have some initiatives planned for one of our groups (musicians and podcasters) and this would be ideal.
