There are times when we do need to group by something first and then the date. Example:

I'm working on a report for a team to show how an accounts health has improved since they have been working with the customer. They are a smaller team and at most might have a 10 accounts to look at their health trend over the last month.

In this case, we would like to show the overall score from usage data, and group by Account Name and then Date.

However, in Reports 2.0 if you have Date in the group by and it is not first, it throws an error.

Lane - For your use case, is not "grouping" an option at all?  For example, just putting Account Name, Date, Overall Score in the Show section - would that satisfy your need?

We *can*, but it doesn't provide a visual representation which is what we are looking for.
