We have come across an instance that when you apply a global filter based off of the Relationship object, it has no effect to the Portfolio Summary widget on Gainsight Home.
For example, if you were to apply a global filter of CSM > Name stemming from the Relationship object then the Portfolio Summary widget will not adjust to show accurate data. However if you pull the same filter stemming from the Company object, it works correctly. Even more so if you pull in Company > CSM > Name filter from the Relationship side, it still doesn’t work even though it is the same field being used if you bring it in from the Company object.
It seems that the Portfolio Summary widget will not respect any filter on the Relationship object at all, as if it is not there.
In other instances where this has come up it appears there is a workaround by adding CSM > Name from both the Company and Relationship object using OR logic but this only works if all Relationships have the same CSM as the companies they are associated with and that is not always the case.
It would be extremely beneficial if the Portfolio Summary was able to respect filters from the Relationship object as many heavily utilize Relationships in their day to day processes.
