Have the Ability to add Fields to Custom Email Preference Pages

It would be great if fields could be added to the preference pages to gather information that could be used in variant filters. Currently, categories are set at the email template level. I'd like to be able to gather key information such as language or for contacts to update their roles (which indicate certain email delivery types), that can't adequately be captured as categories. Being able to capture language preference is our largest use-case currently.

Resurrecting this very old thread to emphasize this is still a need - especially with the large push for digital cs. One of the most commonly asked questions at Pulse in the digital sessions are around how manage data at scale - which will only ever be adequately possible when a customer can provide and update their information.

It would be extremely valuable to have an actual preference center where recipients can update their name, title, etc, in addition to their email preferences. This is not a new or novel concept.

This, 100% -- and it’d be a huge step forward in getting our data cleaned up.

How is this still a new idea with only four votes in a five year timespan? 😥

Thank you @kelly for pulling me back into this (5 year old “new”) idea!

To add to this idea -- it would be an absolute gamechanger if this page could include custom fields so we could pass preference information to/from other platforms. (Hubspot, Marketo...)

It’s just… messy… when a client adjusts their preferences in one system and expects those preferences to be shared amongst ALL email communications -- and they aren’t. It should require manual processes to inform those other systems, either -- we should be able to just have those preferences at an absolute user level across whatever systems we use.
