Horizon Rule Migration Tool
I’ve just started testing the waters on the Bionic Rule (BR)>Horizon Rule (HR) migration tool and the general workflow is great - I love that you can see the status and there are migration logs.
Unless this issue is going to be addressed
which seems less and less likely, I humbly request the migration tool help folks out with the Rule Action descriptions added as the Criteria when migrating the “Action Setup”.
In BR, I have this view of my Actions - I can see the action type and my description, and then expand each to see the criteria if needed:
In HR, it migrates to this:
While I can mouseover each action to view the description in the rule that does carry over, I really want to have that info at the Criteria step name (truly, it’s more helpful to see the action and criteria on the same screen but I digress) - or appended to the end of the action.
Because “NO filter/criteria” actions are lumped together, which may not be desirable, it would likely be better to add it to the name of the filter criteria so there is something there to distinguish between your actions so they aren’t stuck on the same criteria branch.
Given orgs will be required to move to HR very soon this tool will likely see lots of use in the coming weeks, so please consider this in a patch update to help the admin community out.
