Impersonation

This would be incredibly helpful for troubleshooting when users are experiencing issues. It would make it easier to figure out if it’s user error or if there is a technical issue. I’ve not used a platform before that doesn’t allow for impersonation, so this seems like a bit of a miss. 

I have a test account for which I keep switching Custom Roles.

Also a couple of browsers, one with my regular Admin X ray vision and another through a more commoner’s 👀 

So being able to ‘view as’ someone, would really be handy

That’s what I do. I have several different accounts. But it’s always nice when you can log in and impersonate a specific person, and then grab screen shots. It helps to troubleshoot. We have one right now who is a registered user but content isn’t showing up for them. It would be great to be able to impersonate them and poke around. 

Upvoting this! As a Community Admin, troubleshooting permission-based issues is incredibly painful right now. Content visibility isn't just about basic community roles anymore—it's often driven by complex third-party integrations and external entitlements that determine what custom content a user sees.

Having to constantly create test accounts and sync permissions across different platforms just to replicate a bug is a massive time sink. A secure User Impersonation / "View As" feature for Admins/Moderators would be a game-changer for faster troubleshooting and auditing our integrations. Really hope the product team considers this!

Thanks for the feedback, we do not have plans to implement it this year. We will park this idea for this year and pickup next year
