Increase number of reports we can add to dashboard

+1000 to this. If the limit is set to 30 for performance reasons, why is the Rich Text widget included in the total count? I often use these as section headers and try to have one at the top as a description/title/detail of the dashboard. This should not cut in to the number of GS reports I can add to the dashboard.

Spot-on, Zach -- totally understand performance limits on Dashboards, but the RT Widgets shouldn’t count toward that 30 . . . I think that would probably make most requests for raising the limit for a given instance of Gainsight disappear!

Agreed @sdrostgainsightcom! I would also advocate for a counter to be added to the page showing number of reports / the given limit. This would save me from the embarrassment of telling someone I could add a report only to return and tell them they have to sacrifice something else.

@sdrostgainsightcom Did they stop allowing the limit to be raised? I just logged a ticket and got a response saying ‘it’s not in the policy to raise the limit’.

@ACT I think the ask here should be to ignore RT widgets in the total report count. Can we update the initial ask? I was denied when asking for this through support. I’d like to push this product request vs creating a new one.

Yeah rich text widgets should be throwaways and not counted as part of the limit.

+1000 I was just in this situation a couple of days back. It was embarrassing to say the least.

+100! We use rich texts widgets similarly to improve dashboard navigation and clarity, but it’s an uphill battle with the current report limitations. As a result, we have far more dashboards than we would like.
