With the embeddable widget(s), users are accessing community … just by a different method.

Many of the content, audience, and self-service metrics are apply. However, this answer indicates that these metrics are not included in community analytics.

Business impact: This is counter-intuitive to the value of an in-platform or in-website embeddable widget: increasing community engagement and self-service by bringing community to the user. Thus, the more embeddable widget is used, the higher engagement and self-service value from community. But that wouldn’t be reflected in the important community metrics.

Some low hanging fruit opportunities:

  • Content
    • Content Helpfulness
  • Audience
    • Visitors
    • Page Views
  • Self-service
    • Unique visitors who viewed help content
    • Self-service score/ratio (view incorporating into the above)

Thank you for your input @DannyPancratz .

This is a missed opportunity as it does not give the relevance to the widget that it needs as we are not fully accounting for its usage.
I am transitioning this idea to open to take it to the next level in our product development.
