It would be extremely helpful to introduce a status system for scorecard configuration, similar to what we already have for activities, note templates, and rules. As a Gainsight admin, I would like to establish an inactive scorecard until I've consulted with all necessary parties to ensure it's configured correctly before launching and making it active for end users. Usually, configuring a scorecard requires input from multiple business partners, and development can take time. Currently, there's no way to create a scorecard without it being visible to end-users. Although you can control when the scorecard is applied, this still doesn't prevent users from seeing and using it.
As an admin, this means it’s necessary to document and track all scorecard configuration plans using a separate tool outside of Gainsight, only for this to be later imported into Gainsight when configuration plans are finalized and the scorecard is ready to be activated. Alternatively, if the scorecard is added in a work-in-progress (WIP) state, this WIP scorecard will be at risk of assignment/selection. It would be much more convenient for admins and users if we could simply create the scorecard in Gainsight and keep it inactive until ready to activate for all users.
