Leaderboard pane showing users from the company you work in

Thanks for sharing this idea @Anitahg! I like the idea a lot - I think in B2B communities especially it could be very valuable to connect employees from the same company, have them compete against each other, and visualise how much each person is contributing. Curious to see if other customers think the same :)

We would love this and likely have a heavy use case if it was developed. 

As it currently stands, you can only “exclude” roles from showing up on the Leaderboard widget. However, it would be extremely helpful (and straightforward) to also add the logic to be able to only “include” particular roles. For my use case, I want to create a separate Leaderboard for employees only (those with the “Employee” custom role). It would be so much more straightforward to only include this one role, as opposed to having to assign a “non-employee” role to all of our other 20,000+ users min order to exclude them (which is what Support is currently suggesting).

I’m hoping that just adding the “include” logic in addition to “exclude” logic would be an easy/quick fix, and potentially will be considered in the near future.

+1 to this idea. Would be great to be able to segment leaderboard by user role. We would love to show customers the leaderboard, but our company’s employees often dominate the top spots.

Like ​​​​​@amandamartin , I want to create a leaderboard for my own company’s employees as we’re in soft launch phase and I want to create some competition between them for who can engage the most.
A customer of mine also asked the same, to help drive engagement of the community amongst his staff.

@sarahmasterton-brown If your employees get a custom role (e.g. “Employee” then you can create a separate leaderboard that just displays them. In the users section, you just select the roles to exclude.

I am adding my vote in on this! I need separate leaderboards for employees, vs non employees. My use case is the same as @amandamartin plus what @sarahmasterton-brown is suggesting.  Plus I would like to be able to customize leaderboards in each forum, and group, and have the ability to name each leaderboard for clarification. 

Thanks Scott. I have since set up a separate leaderboard for employees but it’s a manual exercise to allocate the custom role. 

I tried to setup an employee leaderboard, it allows you to exclude roles, but both employees and customers are Registered users, employees have a custom role of LM Staff, but customers do not have a custom role. So when you exclude Registered users, and include LM Staff it removes all employees except those with Admin, CM and Mod.  The primary role overwrites the custom role.
