Limit Date Options For Global Filters

I was wondering if there is a way to limit the options for date fields used in global filters. Right now, I can add the date field, but then when the user selects the filter, they are given all the many options that Gainsight offers. I appreciate all the options Gainsight gives us with dates but it might be overwhelming for end users and they simply don’t need most of them. 

Is there a way to limit the selection to say, this month, this quarter, and this year and that’s it?
