It would be helpful to have some way to more easily browse and locate a group in a large number of groups.

I’d like to have a list of groups by city or region (this might number in the hundreds over time) where our customers are and provide an easy way to locate a particular group. Right now I have to scroll through the list of groups and they only appear in order they are created.

Three things would help here:

Filters

Options could include Tags or other custom variables (location, topic, role, audience) that could be added as metadata on a group

Search

Ability to search for a group by name

Sort

Ability to sort groups in other ways -- e.g. by name, by tag, by date added, etc.

I could also argue that we could provide alternate ways to view the list of groups - not just the current layout as cards, but maybe a list view or a table view.

One more comment that this seems to be a common reason folks move to Bevy for managing a larger number of groups.

Listing groups by creation date doesn’t help a community grow, for instance we have 30 groups but as we grow Community and make it more part of the companies DNA we are finding new ways to use Community.  We have create a group and programming for new users, but they have to scroll to the bottom of the groups to find it.

using tags isn’t intuitive, we need to make this VERY simple and intuitive for customers to find. They don’t have time to scroll.

We need to be able to list the groups based on our needs not from when they were created.
