I got an interesting question from a business unit, we created a new forum for a new product and they noticed the subscribe button. They then asked me "How many people are subscribed to this board?" I was not able to answer - Might be a metric that get is useful.

If you think this something that could help you as well - consider voting this 'UP' 👍

And, not just an Admin metric, making it a publicly appreciable KPI right on the Activity ribbon under the category banner :)

The new Subscription Status and Subscription Trends dashboards, launched today, were designed to solve this exact visibility gap.

Powered by Gainsight Analytics Platform, these tools allow you to track engagement for a specific category:

  • Track New Boards: With the Subscription Trends dashboard, you can see exactly who and when users are subscribing or unsubscribing to a new category.
  • Compare Performance: Use the Category Heatmap to see at a glance how your new forum is performing compared to others in the community.
  • Filter by Forum: Isolate a specific category using Report Filters to see its unique active subscriber count.
  • Drill Down & Export: If a business unit needs the data, you can click the visual to Drill Down, customize the columns, and export the full list as a CSV.

These dashboards provide the direct metrics needed to measure the success of new forums from day one.
