Hello Community!

I’m you friendly Gainsight Support Agent, submitting this Feature Enhancement on behalf of a customer:

The Company :: Summary field (Rich Text) can be edited with a full WYSIWYG editor in the C360 and is rendered as HTML. When edited via Data Management, this field renders as text — showing the actual HTML from the C360 data entry — and has a simplified editor with some WYSIWYG controls, but not links.

[...]

For example, I want to create a new object with a new Rich Text field and I want to add links to the text contained within it.

Thanks for adding this Emily. Just to clarify, we don’t need a full WYSIWYG editor, we just need the editor component to have the same controls across the different parts of Gainsight where it’s used, so that content can be edited consistently.

As you can see below, the Data Management and C360 components have different controls.

Therefore, there is no way for an admin to update, for example, text alignment settings via Data Management if they were set by a GS user via the C360. The same goes for strikethrough, text color, background colour, font family and font size.

This isn’t really a feature request, it’s a bug.
