LOVE that this is finally available, love that it is controllable at not only the report but also the field level. However, here is some feedback, in order of priority:

  1. Restricted to tabular reports only, e.g. not drill downs. This limits our usability greatly. There’s a tradeoff to be made here on dashboard cleanliness.
  2. Still not possible on Scorecard widgets. This creates a huge disconnect since we especially need editability to be all connected with Mass Edit reports. That’s literally the point.
  3. Not possible on row-grouped reports. Maybe for the field that is enabled for row grouping, I could understand. But why not for the other columns? Because the report grouping and sorting may not be live-updateable anymore?

@ChiragJ FYI on #2 here

This needs to be amplified x1000 especially #2

Use Case: Create a single report that includes the key fields CSMs are responsible for maintaining (CSM Sentiment, Renewal Outlook, Priority Account...).

User Story: As a CSM, I have one single place to go to make account-level field updates.

Ampli-fied (as noted by Ampli-tude). Made me chuckle, but use case + user story are 💯

We’re changing how we use Relationships, and I would amend this user story to be “...Company *or* relationship-level field updates”.

Also, if I’m being honest, this is one of the main complaints I’ve had from users *in general* about Gainsight - you have to go to a bunch of places to do any one process, because everything is scattered.

Imagine trying to explain to your users “you can edit *this* attribute here, but you have to use the nearly identical report below it to edit the other X Attributes”. It doesn’t make sense and is honestly a pretty critical platform issue for user adoption @revathimenon @ChiragJ @dstokowski
