Notification Trigger and Progress Update for Learning Path

Thank you for posting your idea, Sriram! I was going to request something similar regarding the automatic progress updates but saw your post, so I’ll just add my notes to it. 😀

Responsive Progress Updates for Learning Paths

Currently, a learner’s progress percentage in a learning path does not dynamically update when new courses are added. For example, if a learner has completed all existing courses and reached 100%, their completion percentage remains the same, rather than adjusting (e.g., dropping to 77%) when a new course is introduced.

Challenges:

• Learners may mistakenly believe they have fully completed a path, unaware that new required courses have been added.
• Without responsive updates, tracking progress in evolving learning paths becomes difficult.
• This lack of visibility can lead to confusion and gaps in learning.

Learners should be able to quickly see on their "My Learning" page when new content has been added to a learning path. Currently, they must manually open each assigned learning path to check for updates, which is not practical, as they are unlikely to do so regularly.
