Objective order on Gantt chart

I get that a gantt charts generally make the most sense when the order of the objectives is dependent on when they are due, but we have several objectives due the same day. What is the secondary ordering method in this case? It looks random to me.

These are a few that have confused me:

It's obviously not alphabetical, and can't be based on the existence of a playbook. Any other ideas.

We would like to have some control over this to keep such a long and intense process as clear as possibly for the client.

Hi Britton,

Thanks for sharing this. Currently, there is no secondary ordering....If multiple objectives have the same due date then they are displayed in the same order they are fetched in (which mostly might be alphabetical).
What would be the ideal secondary ordering for your use case?

Alphabetical would probably make the most sense if we are going to continue to rely on automatic sorting. I would prefer the ability to sort them in template order if at all possible.

An addition to this conversation, we are able to apply a template to populate a success plan and this is able to show in the template order (which is intentionally ordered according to task completion and dependencies), so our Objectives area looks as we'd expect, though the Gantt chart area reorders this. This is confusing for our external clients viewing the project.

So, I'd suggest that a method of ordering might be to simply respect the template order of Objectives.
