It would be helpful to have a flexible way to hide or show sections in the C360 layout on certain criteria. Since we display a relatively large amount of sections at the customer, but not all customers have data in each section, it would be very time-consuming to design and maintain separate layouts for each case. A flexible solution with filters per section would be very helpful.

Hello @christian_auner. Thanks for sharing your idea here. We do understand the challenge of overwhelming sections, and we are planning to provide the ability for CSMs to pin their favorite sections to help the users reduce clutter. Conditional hiding of sections based on some criteria is an interesting idea towards the same goal. Are you looking for any specific criteria here for filtering out sections? Any examples for such filters to hide sections would be great.

Thanks @gopal_rao_kallepu for your answer and @sai_ram for the reminder

Pin favorite sections is also a great idea but doesn’t reduce the number of sections.

The criteria I have in mind are simple booleans or picklist fields. For example we store in different booleans at the customer info object the bought products from our customers. With this we could show or hide different sections for each product. An example for a picklist would be our System Type “SaaS” or “On-Prem”. In our case On-Prem customer doesn’t need that many sections and it would be helpful to hide them.

I hope this help and we would love to see a feature like this in the future.

Hey @christian_auner thanks for your response

Having different 360 layouts to companies/Accounts that meet a criteria is possible today from the C360 layouts page. Does this not address this not address your use case ? please do comment back in case any gaps.

Hi @gopal_rao_kallepu the idea behind my post is it to not have 20 different c360 layouts that needs to be maintained. The goal should be to have only a few main layouts that fits your business. We have two layouts at the moment, one for CSM related customers and one for tech touch. If we would now create additional layouts for the different System types (On-Prem and SaaS) and the different products combinations a customer could use we would need more than 20 layouts.

got it @christian_auner, you are looking for a way to control list of sections viewed on the C360 layout by some user or company level attributes. This is interesting and we will explore this idea more.
Thanks again for providing more details.

I know this idea is pretty old, but I’m curious if it’s been worked on at all? This is especially taxing for R360 management, as I’m trying to figure out a way to scale a Relationship build without having to have an individual layout for all ~15 of our products.
