Like it is the case for Questions and Conversations, it would be great if Ideas could also have this setting.

Hi @jvdc! We recently added this capability. Could you please confirm if it is available in Control > Settings > Public Tags > Make it mandatory to add public tags when posting topics.

Hi @Sudhanshu , as explained in the description, I am aware of this feature for topics (questions and discussions), but I would like to be able to turn it on for ideas too ;-)

Hi @jvdc!

This functionality works for all end-user content types: question, conversation and idea.

However, if you are a Moderator, Community Manager or Administrator, you can still create an idea (or any other content type) without a public tag, from Destination, as we use a check for the moderator role (or above) for this to work.

I found your profile in the MSF community and I spotted you are an administrator. If you test this with a Registered User role account, an idea should request a public tag too.

Can you please verify this and get back to us?

Okay my bad! You can change this idea's status then!
