Option to show recent Ideas in sidebar

Hello there,

We have a couple of boards which we use as beta groups. Users can check recent updates, create ideas and do the usual things we all know.

It would be nice to have a widget in the sidebar that can show a couple of ideas, for example the 3-5 most recent ideas. Or most voted on ideas. A single column would suffice, where an admin can set the criteria and end-users can see relevant/recent ideas only.

I know the idea pipeline widget exists, that works on a page solely for ideas (like on this community). If it's a board page that has multiple functions, that widget is massive and takes away from the other topics and updates in that board. In the sidebar it could mediate the attention, so everything gets a share.
