Permanent Enrollment Erasure

This request focuses on the functional necessity to completely delete an enrollment record rather than simply toggling it to "inactive." Currently, the system lacks a "hard delete" feature for administrative errors, meaning any mistake—no matter how small—becomes a permanent fixture on a learner's profile. I’m seeking a way to physically remove these records so the learner's transcript remains a clean, accurate reflection of their intended curriculum.

Why This Impacts Users So Much

  • Professional Integrity: A transcript is a formal record. When a learner sees a course they never signed up for marked as "Inactive," it looks like a "Did Not Finish" or a dropped requirement, which can be misconstrued by management or during audits.

  • Cognitive Load & Confusion: Users want a streamlined "To-Do" list. Seeing "ghost" enrollments on their dashboard creates mental clutter, leading to questions like, "Was I supposed to take this?" or "Is my account broken?"

  • Administrative Friction: Forcing a learner to look at an error indefinitely creates a poor user experience. It turns a simple "whoops" by an admin into a permanent blemish on the user’s interface, leading to unnecessary support tickets and a feeling that the system is clunky or inflexible.
