Please create a Permission that allows us to grant edit access only for copies of the Default version.  We support over 20 languages and have many different people translating the default template.  Several times, a translator updated the Default / English version instead of cloning it.  Can we have a permission set in Gainsight that allows users to only create and edit versions of the email template without allowing them to edit the default?  This is crucial in Journey Orchestrator (automated) email templates.

Woah. This would be a total gamechanger for scaling our digital-led CSM programs.

We have a number of CSMs who don’t want to participate in some of our email programs because they communicate exclusively in a different language than our default (English) -- ex: Japanese, Korean, French, Italian, German, Spanish… and some individual CSMs have books of business that span multiple languages.

Our current translation process is a nightmare of using AI translation services and/or Google Translate for a rough translation, sending to those CSMs to edit the copy, cloning the email (we have to use multiple templates because we have multiple versions within the template for different products), and updating the copy there.

Being able to lock down the default version of a template (example: Google docs editor/viewer/commenter access levels) so certain CSMs could copy an existing version but only make edits or delete that additional version would be huge.

@ssamarth -- thoughts on how this might integrate with the CSM 1:Many roadmap feature? It would be fantastic for our CS Ops team to be able to build a locked version of a scaled communication template that specific CSMs would then be able to copy and edit both the text and screenshots (which may not be translated for their preferred language) prior to sending to their accounts.
