Persistent URL for creating specific topic types

A URL that opens the Create Topic dialog with a specific topic type pre-selected, rather than just the default. 

 

Use cases: creating quick links (either in text hyperlinks, wdigets, or buttons) with the correct Topic type selected

    This would be so nice! I’m worried our users will get confused when they click on our quick link to create a new idea, and end up posting a question instead.
