Possible to Add "Contains/Does Not Contain" to Segment Operators for "User Email"?

Is it possible to have the “contains/does not contain” operators added to the “User Email” filter in Segments? Part of one of the main queries we use in our external JO programs currently is a filter to exclude any email addresses that include our company domain. This seems like a bit of an oversight.

    I couldn’t agree more. These operators (contains and does not contain) appear in other places within Gainsight and are absolutely necessary for string fields.

      Thinking part of the issue might be that this is the “email” field type. 🤔

      String field operator options in segments.

      The string field definitely has the “contains” operator. I’m just a bit confused on why certain operators seem to be turned off almost randomly, especially when they could be used in earlier queries. 

      Example:
      In the current advanced JO program builder, the query source allows filtering “user email” with “does not contain” or “contains” _______. 

      User email “does not contain” @ domain dot com

      Whoops… think @benwanlessmenlo had the right idea. Thanks to @rgupta91 for alerting me to my mistake here. I had used the lookup field instead of the string, hence the operators weren’t pulling correctly for what I wanted to achieve.
