Post Staircase Enablement Remove App Switcher in CS

When going through the permissions after setting up Staircase in CS I find it odd that there is no setting to turn off the App Switcher. I understand the need for this feature and it is neat but we would like to prioritize using SSO to login to Staircase directly. 
Our original plan was to have Managers have access to Staircase directly and through CS but limit ICs access directly and keep them CS where they can access the information through C360 and Executive Dashboard.
