Pre-Generate Links in Draft Mode

If you need it desperately, I can suggest one workaround: you can use the article draft preview link in the email (with sharing set to anyone with the link can view). This will redirect to the community topic, once the topic is published. Good idea on the Control button taking you to the draft you’re working on - noted!

P.S - When in an article preview, clicking “Control” takes you to the general Control environment, not to the specific draft you are working on. Would be fab if we could get back to the editor of that draft.

@banthonisz Quick note: we’ve improved this so that when clicking Control on a draft preview, you are taken back to the Control page to edit the draft :).

I just came to ask if this was available. I’ll use the workaround from Daniel, but it would be nice if we could get the published article link while the article is in draft mode. 

same desire different usage: If we want to send out and email blast directing to an activity in the community the email is usually scheduled at least a day ahead and then what we have to do now is post the article early and direct people to a post that looks like it’s old and not interesting :/ 

Reviving this thread - we’ve got a similar use case to Mayaan and would really like to see this implemented!
