In Text Analytics and Topic Analytics, preprocessing removes special characters, including hyphens. As a result, hyphenated keywords do not reliably match against topics or text, even when those terms are commonly used and documented in a hyphenated format.
Proposed Enhancement
Enable Text and Topic Analytics to recognize and analyze hyphenated keywords. This could include preserving hyphens during preprocessing or treating hyphenated and non-hyphenated versions of a keyword as equivalent.
This enhancement would make text analysis more flexible and better aligned with how teams document and reference key terms.
