Currently, we do not have a way to make the users in a tenant to follow/unfollow companies in Bulk. A workaround to do this is via Sally which will let the users to follow/unfollow the list of the companies, however, for the others who do not use Sally, we don’t have an option to do that in Bulk.
+1 to this feature request. I would add on that it would also be beneficial for CSMs to be able to view accounts they “follow”. I understand we can report on assigned accounts, but if a CSM wants to “follow” various companies, it would be awesome to have a dedicated place to list all “followed” accounts in NXT.
I’m also gonna upvote this. I think the Follow feature is great, but it is sorely underutilized. It would be great for a CSM to get a Digest via email of the goings-on of their customers. And the only way right now is to have them manually click follow for each Company.
Additionally, it would be great if there was an API endpoint to call and reference an User email to Follow/Unfollow a Company, this way we could set it up programmatically.

Any update?
or this
?
It’s an interesting feature that either needs to be updated or replaced, but as it is it’s pretty bad and it’s just been sitting for four years.
Thanks for submitting this idea and detailing your needs around bulk follow/unfollow of companies. We’ve captured your feedback and want to ask a couple of clarifying questions to help us prioritise this correctly:
-
When you say bulk follow/unfollow, do you mean:
-
Selecting multiple companies at once and applying the action to all, or
-
Applying the action across multiple users for one company (or many) at once?
Which scenario matters most for you?
-
-
How often would you anticipate using this bulk capability? Is it a one-time cleanup/organisation effort, or an ongoing need as part of your workflow?
-
Are there any restrictions or filters you want when doing bulk actions (for example: “only companies that are in a certain region/state”, or “only companies with a certain status”)?
Thanks again, once we have a clearer picture of how you’d use this, we’ll evaluate feasibility and next steps. Let me know!

As an AI language model, here is how I would respond:
- First questions:
- Yes
- Yes
- The first is the most important
- This would be ongoing.
- Not really, though general users should not be able to follow/unfollow for other people. However, admins should have a way via automation or bulk actions to make changes for others.
